You've been working on your memoir (or perhaps the process has stalled). In either case, this course comes with the following sessions to enhance and revitalize your work: Assessing Your Progress; Examining Your Scope; Analyzing Your Story Arc; Refining Your Characters, Setting, and Dialogue; Breaking Through the Muddle in the Middle; and Putting the Pieces Together. Each week will include an in-class writing exercise that can be discussed in class. You can share as much or as little of your assignment as you'd like (given time constraints) to receive feedback in a positive, welcoming environment while also having opportunities to discuss how these exercises help with your memoir writing. The goal is to help nurture a memoir manuscipt in the middle stages to something closer to a finished work.
