We're launching Turn Up the Volumes, our year-end fund drive. Our goal is to raise $20,000 by December 31st to help fund an entire year of workshops, classes, readings, conferences, fellowships, publishing opportunities, and neighborhood writing programs. Our goal, as always, is to help local writers improve their craft, advance their careers, and find a supportive community.
Your donation will help us write a new literary future for Cleveland. With your support we can:
Celeste Ng, Anthony Doerr, Susan Orlean, and Rita Dove all got their start here in Northeast Ohio. Help develop more great authors by supporting writing workshops, reading classes, internships and fellowships, and publishing opportunities such as Gordon Square Review for writers right here in Cleveland.
How many vital stories haven’t been told due to a lack of access to writing and publishing opportunities? Donations like yours help us remove barriers to entry and to provide additional free and low-cost programs like Cleveland Stories, our free place-based writing program for underserved communities.
Literary Cleveland supports writers and readers from all neighborhoods, backgrounds, and genres with programs like the Inkubator Conference. By bringing the entire literary arts community together we can build bridges, break down barriers, and use the power of words to change ourselves, our city, and ourworld.
When you make a tax-deductible contribution to Literary Cleveland, you allow us to provide tools to local writers and readers to enhance their writing and deepen their love for literature. This empowers local writers and readers to seek out others who share their passions, transforming not only their lives, but the lives of those around them.
Lit Cleveland is a 501c3 organization and contributions are tax-deductible.
