This two-hour lecture will provide the foundational concepts that we’ll work with in the four-week Developing a Writing Habit Class. We’ll discuss strategies for getting you into your seat, how to combine playfulness with discipline, and discuss the three components necessary for a writing career. We’ll then cover the basics of a process guaranteed to get you started generating raw material.
- New students: This class is a prerequisite for the more intensive, workshop-oriented four-week session (Register for the January class here). It can be taken independently for those wishing to jump-start their writing.
- Returning students: This introductory session contains material that in the past was discussed on the first week of the class.
This class takes place remotely online via Zoom. Register to receive the zoom link and class instructions.
