If it feels like the world is ending, maybe it is. And maybe it already has, countless times before. With climate disaster, state violence, censorship, and genocide, it feels like the world we have been taught to know is already gone. When the end of the world isn't what we imagine, when it ends and continues over and over again, how can poetry help us make sense of the tangled mess? In this workshop, we'll draw on model texts and generative prompts to help guide our attention to writing the end of the world—and finding inspiration in the aftermath. For those looking to put the current moment into perspective and into language, for those looking to write to the other side.
