In this workshop we will use objects as the engine to tell the story of an individual or a group of people. Local poet and storyteller Danielle Dixon will use discussion and writing prompts, as well as stories of her own, to spark participants' creativity and potential to enliven their storytelling through simple, everyday objects.

Scholarships: Two scholarship spots are available for this class for writers in Northeast Ohio. Apply by April 15.

Danielle N. Dixon is a published author, local poet, and artist. She has a BA in Visual Art from Kent State University and is an alumna of the Cleveland School of the Arts. Her work has been published in Neighborhood Voices, Cleveland Stories: Volume 2, Inclusion Magazine, and The Luna Negra.
