
This class is a reading-into-writing class. Each month will feature reading selections of a well-beloved poet, (including that poet's thoughts about their process ). We'll explore that poet's subjects and craft techniques as inspirations for writing. Poets will include Allen Ginsberg, James Wright, Mary Oliver, and Naomi Shihab Nye. Each class will consist of workshop of student drafts followed by a deep dive into that month's featured poet.

Details: Reading Poets into Writing Poetry takes place Tuesdays April 14, May 12, June 9, and July 14 (every second Tuesday of the month from April 14-July 14) from 6:30-8:30 PM remotely online via Zoom.
