In this class we'll read one craft book before each session. During class time, we'll discuss the book, and then work on exercises inspired by the content. As follow-up, students will expand on and refine their in-class work to turn in by the next class and receive feedback from the instructor.
We'll be reading the following books:
A Swim in a Pond in the Rain by George Saunders
How I Write My Novels by Haruki Murakami
The Writing Life by Annie Dillard
Free Within Ourselves by Jewell Parker Rhodes
