Lump in the throat, lump—
Pushing, hating, pushing—

Run, no, you can’t run—
Praising, never praising.

No good, no, you’re not done—
Raising stakes, always raising.

Thought, no, you can’t think;
Society caught you grazing.

Deny what you can’t see—
Pressure, praising, pressure.
