Tanya Reynolds (she/her) is senior communications officer at the Sisters of Charity Foundation of Cleveland, where she focuses on writing message strategy and development to elevate and emphasize the foundation’s mission of breaking the cycle of poverty in Cleveland. She is an alumnus and class representative of the Cleveland Bridge Builders Class of 2020 and volunteers her time with the Ronald McDonald House of Cleveland, Literary Cleveland and community organizations focused on race equity and inclusion. She also is a successful freelance copy editor of genre fiction, especially romance. Previously, Tanya lived in Rochester, N.Y., and New York City, where she held strategic communications positions in health care and book publishing. She volunteered hundreds of hours as a writing tutor, bookstore clerk for Housing Works, community kitchen server and farm-share coordinator. She is a graduate of the Jandoli School of Communication at St. Bonaventure University, where she received the Mark Hellinger Award for the school’s most promising young journalist. A Pittsburgh native, she believes in the power of the written word to bring dignity to every individual and begin to heal the effects of centuries of systemic oppression and silencing. Tanya lives in Fairview Park with her husband, Scott Stahl, cats Bleecker & Wash, dog Gimli, and (as of December-January) their new (human) son.
