Kyle Winkler is the author of Enter the Peerless, Tone-Bone, Grasshands, The Nothing That Is, and other books. He is an Associate Professor of English at Kent State University at Tuscarawas. He received a Ph.D. in Composition & Rhetoric from the University of Pittsburgh and an MFA from Washington University in St. Louis. His found document horror novel, The Ship of Death, is forthcoming from Avon A/HarperCollins Sept. 2026.
