Kit Alloway is the author of three YA novels published by St. Martin’s Griffin (Dreamfire, Dreamfever, and Dream Forever). She is currently writing, editing both fictional and academic documents for Scribendi (where she has been employed for three years), and preparing to launch her own inclusive, feminist romance publishing house (as seen in FreshWater Cleveland and forthcoming in The Plain Dealer). She was the recipient of an Al Smith fellowship while living in Kentucky, where she taught adult enrichment courses in fiction and memoir and was the short story class teacher for eight summers at the Young Writers Workshop. She holds a BA in Theatrical Linguistics with a minor in Russian and East European Studies and a language certificate in Romania, and an MFA in Writing from Spalding University. In September, she presented a lecture, “The Art of Editing Joyfully,” at the North Canton Book Fair. Over the summer, she earned an A+ in “Social Media Marketing” at Tri-C, and she intends to share what she learned during this workshop.
