Justin Todd Smith is a writer and teacher living in Cleveland. He has an MFA in fiction from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a BA in English from Utah State University. He is a previous editorial assistant for the literary journal Ninth Letter and the recipient of the Mary Kay Peer Prize in both fiction and poetry. His nonfiction has been published in the journal Sink Hollow. In addition to teaching at Ohio Technical College, he is finishing a manuscript of short stories which explore masculine identities in rural American communities.
