Jenna Martínez

Jenna Martínez (she/her) is a queer Mexican-American writer, printmaker, and illustrator. She is a Literary Cleveland 2023-2034 Breakthrough Writing Resident and a recipient of the Unidos Por El Arte Grant from the Julia de Burgos Cultural Arts Center and scholarships from the Community of Writers Workshop and the Macondo Writers Workshop.

Her writing has appeared in or is forthcoming in The Kenyon Review, Homology Lit, and One Page Poetry. She is at work on a collection of poems about place, borders, and queer joy. Originally from San Antonio, Texas, she lives in Cleveland, Ohio.
