Doug Cornett is the author of the FINALLY, SOMETHING… mystery series, published by Knopf Books for Young Readers. He earned his MFA in Writing from Portland State University, and his writing has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. In 2024, he was one of three judges for the Middle Grade Golden Kite Award. When he's not dreaming up mysteries or visiting classrooms across the country, Doug Cornett teaches high school English and History at Hershey Montessori School. He lives with his wife and two young kids in Cleveland, Ohio.
