Craft Talk

The Agent Hunt from Start to Finish

With:
Laura Maylene Walter

This workshop offers a holistic look at the process of searching for, signing with, and working with a literary agent. Do you need an agent? When is the right time to start querying? How do you know if a particular agent is right for you? What happens after you sign an agency contract, and how might an agent help guide your career? These questions and more will be answered in this workshop, which will also provide querying tips and best practices, a realistic look at today’s publishing landscape, and optional query letter critiques (time permitting).

The Agent Hunt from Start to Finish takes place Tuesday, September 20 and Tuesday, September 27 from 7-9pm in person at Lakewood United Methodist Church (15700 Detroit Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107).
