Story Through Improv - June 2021

With:
Matt Larsen

Stop trying to be the next Faulkner and be the first you!

Learn to bypass your inner critic using the techniques of improvisation, mapping your experiences and turning seeming mistakes into gems that will delight your readers and inform your work in the arts and more.

Many of the basic tenets of improvisation--stay in the present, affirm, don't deny and assume, don't ask questions--serve as good ground rules for any storytelling, propelling your work into new and sometimes unexpected directions. Embrace them.

Story Through Improv will involve creative exercises, group work, more science than you might expect, and no math.
