This class will be a deep dive into metaphors, exploring poetic techniques and genres like the riddle, the ode, anti-metaphor, and more. In the first session, we'll work on four or five exercises, depending on time, designed to get participants to really delve into the metaphorical toolboxes. In the second session, we'll workshop the results of those exercises, honing and crafting our poems.
This class takes place remotely online via Zoom.
