Playwriting Workshop: Finding Peace in the Midst of a Pandemic

With:
Dr. Mary E. Weems

Finding Peace in the Midst of a Pandemic is an intensive playwriting workshop with a focus on positive monologues and short 2-3-character plays. During the workshop, you will be guided through prompted writings designed to draw from personal experiences, the experiences of family and friends, and/or stories of the pandemic encountered on social media; inspire hope; and remind us of the importance of love and empathy in the face of chaos. You will create and share new drafts with Dr. Weems and the other participants and receive feedback for editing.
