In today’s confessional culture, stories about parenthood are in high demand. From the heartwarming to the hilarious (and everything in between), no topic is off-limits. In this workshop, we’ll use improvisational writing techniques and creative prompts to capture personal stories of motherhood that can be used as a starting point for personal essays, memoirs, and other writing projects.
Jen Jones Donatelli has authored more than 75 books (both non-fiction and fiction) for publishers including Capstone Press and Enslow Publishing. Her fiction work includes the popular series Team Cheer and Sleepover Girls aimed at middle-grade audiences. When not writing books, Jen is an editor for FreshWater Cleveland.
