Literary Future Casting: Discovering Your Body of Stars

With:
Laura Maylene Walter

Want to publish your novel but not sure how to make it happen? Learn the behind-the-scenes process of publishing a book and get rapid-fire feedback on your work at Literary Future Casting: Discovering Your Body of Stars on Sunday March 21 at 7pm.

In this special event celebrating the publication of her debut novel, Body of Stars, Laura Maylene Walter will meet in conversation with writer and former publishing executive Brandi Larsen to discuss how Body of Stars went from a past dream to a Barnes & Noble highly anticipated 2021 debut. Brandi will share publishing trends and the duo will give rapid-fire advice and insight to further participants' publishing goals.

Attendees may submit either a query letter (single-spaced) or the first page of a prose project (double-spaced) via this form by March 20. All pages will be read aloud at the event. Brandi and Laura will do their best to discuss as many submissions as possible during the event but can't guarantee they'll get to every page.

Receive a signed, personalized copy of Laura's book by ordering through Mac's Backs and leaving a note in the comments section.
