Workshop

Introduction to Developing a Writing Habit (FULL)

With:
Darlene Montonaro

NOTE: This class is now full and we are no longer accepting registrations. Sorry! We invite you to check out our other offerings, sign up for our newsletter, and become a member to be the first to hear about newly added classes.

This two-hour lecture will provide the foundational concepts that we’ll work with in the four-week Developing a Writing Habit Class. We’ll discuss strategies for getting you into your seat, how to combine playfulness with discipline, and discuss the three components necessary for a writing career. We’ll then cover the basics of a process guaranteed to get you started generating raw material.

New students please take note: This class is a prerequisite for the more intensive, workshop-oriented four-week session. It can be taken independently for those wishing to jump-start their writing.

Returning students please note: This introductory session contains material that in the past was discussed on the first week of the class.
