Craft Talk

Introduction to Developing a Writing Habit - Jan 2021

With:
Darlene Montonaro

This two-hour lecture will provide the foundational concepts that we’ll work with in the four-week Developing a Writing Habit Class. We’ll discuss strategies for getting you into your seat, how to combine playfulness with discipline, and discuss the three components necessary for a writing career. We’ll then cover the basics of a process guaranteed to get you started generating raw material.

Note

- New students: This class is a prerequisite for the more intensive, workshop-oriented four-week session (Register for the February class here). It can be taken independently for those wishing to jump-start their writing.
