This intermediate level course is designed for writers who are currently engaged in writing a memoir or a connected series of essays. The workshop will focus on craft and the key tools of memoir: finding your theme; exploring structure; balancing scene, summary and reflection, and more. Students will also have an opportunity to workshop a short 3-4 page excerpt from their manuscript during the course, and receive feedback from the instructor and fellow students.
