Between the Lines
Every other month on third Wednesdays, Happy Dog at the Euclid Tavern becomes a hub for CLE’s lit community as area writers take the stage to read from their work and discuss their craft. Past writers have included Paula McLain, Brad Ricca, Philip Metres, Thrity Umrigar, Tyler Davidson and Mary Weems.
Since 2015, Lit Cleveland has presented work by up-and-coming writers in the community, often in partnership with other organizations. For example, in fall 2017 we presented "5 Under 25," a reading featuring five of the city's top writers who are 25 years or younger, in partnership with Twelve Literary and Performative Arts Incubator.
