There are techniques to help you increase the impact when you read or perform your poetry and other writing. In this class, we will meet to discuss those techniques and look at examples from poets and other readers and performers. Following two class sessions, participants are invited to an informal performance in which they will prepare and deliver a poem or story of their own using those techniques, and receive feedback in a supportive setting. This is a hands-on approach to finding each individual’s best and most effective voice.
